Having incessantly teased its entry into the Indian market over the by few weeks, Vivo's gaming-oriented smartphone brand, iQOO, has finally announced a concrete date for the launch of its first device in the country.
In an official tweet, the iQOO India account appear that the get-go iQOO gaming-centric smartphone volition be launched on Feb 25 in India, as suggested past before rumors. Earlier last month, iQOO officially confirmed its plans to enter the Indian market with the global launch of a new 5G smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC. Talking to NDTV, the Marketing Managing director of iQOO India, Gagan Arora, stated that the device volition too include 'all-time in grade technology' related to bombardment, although, he refused to elaborate on the matter any farther. According to him, "iQOO has the potential to become a global brand. And with that thought, India will be the starting time market outside Cathay."
According to a contempo listing on TENAA, iQOO iii is expected to come with a half-dozen.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED brandish, the Snapdragon 865 SoC, upward to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB of storage and Android 10 out-of-the-box.
